PYSO now with Music Director Earl Lee

Over the last 75 years of its existence, the Pittsburgh Youth Symphony Orchestra has affected and shaped hundreds of alumni, who have gone on to bring their unique creative qualities to communities all over the world. Many of our alum have gone on to professional music careers in major symphony orchestras while others have been successful in an infinite number of ways, all continuing to support classical music through their dedication and talent.

If you’re looking for some of your fellow PYSO friends here are a few lists that may help you find them:

This season we had the pleasure of hosting a college discussion panel, made up of 13 recent PYSO alum who each represented different undergraduate institutions, individually sharing a multitude of helpful insights. A Beyond the Notes session was also hosted by PYSO alum Dr. Michael Tsang, who gave a presentation about injury management and prevention specifically for musicians.

Check out our recent alumni stories below. It only takes a few minutes to fill out the form below with a short paragraph of what you’ve been doing these past few years and send it along with a picture. We want to hear from you!
