On Monday evening PYSO hosted a discussion with PYSO alumni about their unique academic and career plans after high school. Together, the alumni represented 13 different undergraduate institutions, and shared a multitude of helpful insights.

  • Billy Hasley (University of Pennsylvania)

During the Zoom session, PYSO alum discussed a variety of topics from their high school preparations for college, choosing their preferred programs, the applications process, and how to balance academics with music. For each topic, there was a wide range of opinions and perspectives from the 13 alumni. Overall, common themes of community, adaptability, and the process of learning how to balance academics, extracurricular interests, and music were discussed.
