Congratulations to PYSO violinist Jeongwoo Cheon who is the winner of PYSO’s 2022-23 Concerto Competition. Jeongwoo will perform Saint-Saens Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso, Op. 28 at our concert at Heinz Hall on Saturday, February 11.
We would also like to congratulate PYSO cellist Jonah Rosenberg, who came in second place, and PYSO bassoonist Andrew Nelson who took third place. We also extend a profound thanks to all the PYSO students who participated in the Competition this year. The artistic level was very high and a great reflection of the wonderful talent that we have in PYSO. #PYSOProud
