Picture above is from the band’s website and was taken at the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Marching Band Association (PIMBA) Competition at Norwin High School on September 18th.
Lauren Radeschi, PYSO flautist and Senior at Moon Area High School, was a featured soloist in the high school’s competitive show. The band competes in local PIMBA competitions, as well as in the regional Bands of America competition. Lauren performed solos during each of the 3 specially arranged versions of the pop songs: Graveyard by Halsey, Everything I Wanted by Billie Eilish and The Edge of Glory by Lady Gaga.
Lauren recently performed with PYSO bassoonist, Arjun Wasan at Lights On! A Three-Day Celebration of Pittsburgh’s Cultural District. Check out some photos below:
