Tiffany Concert Series

Sunday, April 21 at 4:00 pm at the Calvary United Methodist Church

On Sunday, April 21 The Pittsburgh Youth Symphony Orchestra returns to the Tiffany Concert series! Located in the Calvary United Methodist Church on the North Side the concert starts at 4 PM and will feature members of the Pittsburgh Youth Symphony Orchestra strings performing serenades, chamber music, and solo performances. The concert will also feature select winners of the 2024 Pittsburgh Concert Society Young Artist Auditions as well as second and third place winners of the PYSO Concerto Competition. Don’t miss this opportunity to witness the exceptional talent of these musicians and the next generation of performing artists!

The program includes PYSO Strings performing the first two movements of Dvorak Serenade for Strings, Op. 22. It will also feature PYSO student chamber groups, the Armoris Quartet and Calliope Quartet, performing works by Borodin, Mendelssohn, and Jessie Montgomery. PYSO’s second and third place winners of our annual Concerto Competition will perform works by Grieg and Dvorak.

Tickets can be purchased by cash or check at the door.
Tickets will not be pre-sold.
